Students in instructor Kenneth
Sayers' (in photo- bottom left) Primate Societies
course recently took a field trip to the Cleveland
Metroparks Zoo. The zoo's extensive primate collection
provides opportunities for education and research for Kent
State students. Students in the course have spent the semester
studying the social organization, behavior, and cognition
of primates.
Two student leaders, Kelly Forxworthy (left) and Elizabeth Konwest (right) were honored as Distinguished Student Leaders by the College of Arts and Sciences. They were accompanied to the award ceremony by Dr. Kam Manahan of the department (center).
