Study Abroad

Professor Gus Medicus will lead an art history tour to Florence and surrounding sites of interest from 30 May to  4 July, 2008, for the fifth year.  You can earn up to 6 credits in art history and Italian culture on this trip.  Contact Dr. Medicus for further information.

Kent State University has its own medieval palazzo near the Piazza della Signoria in Florence for its KSU Florence programs. All trips include field trips to Rome and other cities in Tuscany to enhance the understanding of historical and contemporary Italian culture and peoples.

Gilman International Scholarship Program
Deadline: 15 April
Provides up to $5000. for undergraduates to study abroad for up to one academic year.  Aims to diversify the kinds of students studying abroad and countries and regions to which they travel.   Preferences go but are not limited to: students with high financial need, students in under-represented fields, students from diverse ethnic backgrounds and students with disabilities.
