Travel-Study

Students on New York painting travel-study trip with Professor Darice Polo, Fall, 2006

Each semester, faculty organize travel-study tours to various important art locations.  Enrollment is limited and majors in the School have priority.

2007 Spring & Summer

For the spring semester, groups focusing on painting, on sculpture and installation, and on printmaking will visit New York on 22-25 February to see the Armory Show as it opens, among other arts events and activities.  Another group focusing on art history will visit major museums on a trip 22-24 March.

During the summer, art education and art history classes travel to Florence, Italy, for intensive on-site study.  See our Study Abroad page for further details.

Students in Kathleen Browne's and Janice Lessman-Moss' Kent Blossom Art workshops will travel to Italy this summer for an exciting look at lo stile italiano, based with the KSU program in Florence.
