Location, Location
Bärnsdorf is a traditional German village.  It's located in the countryside ten miles from Dresden, the capital of Saxony.  Bärnsdorf and the nearby villages of Berbisdorf, Moritzburg, and Radeburg offer a wide range of leisure activities including hiking, swimming, horse-back riding, biking, and bowling.  Classes will be held on the premises of the Gasthof Bärnsdorf, a restaurant  well-known for traditional food and community gatherings.

Dresden, Capital of Saxony
Nearby, Dresden offers exquisite baroque buildings and cultural treasures: the famous Dresden Semperoper (opera house), Zwinger, Hofkirche, and Brühlsche Terrace all line the Elbe river.  The expansive art museums and high quality of works in art and architecture means Dresden truly earns the nickname, "The Florence of the North".

Admission deadline for the program is February 1, 2001
