About Kent, Ohio

Kent State University is located in Kent, a small city of about 30,000 people.  Kent is situated near Ohio’s major
metropolitan centers; Cleveland is less than one hour away, Columbus is two hours away, Akron is 30 minutes
away, and Youngstown is 45 minutes away.  Pittsburgh, in neighboring Pennsylvania, is also only about a two hour
trip, making Kent State University an ideal place to combine language and cultural studies.
