The majority of instruction and rehearsals for the instrumental program will be in the Music & Speech Center's Hugh A. Glauser School of Music on the Kent State main campus. Some fifteen to twenty faculty and student performances will be given during the six-week period.

Instrumental Music Training

The M-F daily hours of instruction and rehearsal for the Instrumental Program will be from 9:30 am-11:30 am and 1:00-3:00 pm for Chamber Music and after 3:00 pm and weekends for Chamber Orchestra rehearsals, lessons and masterclasses.

A flexible daily schedule will permit the greatest possible involvement of all students enrolled. Evenings will be devoted to individual practice, lectures, recitals and concerts. Student recitals will be at the conclusion of each two week session. Attendance at select Cleveland Orchestra rehearsals and all Cleveland Orchestra concerts at Blossom Music Center are scheduled as part of the curriculum.
