Faculty: John Clouser - Bassoon

John Clouser assumed the principal bassoonist position with The Cleveland Orchestra at the beginning of the 1997-98 season. He was associate principal bassoon of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal since 1994 and for six years was principal bassoon of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Clouser has taught at McGill University in Montreal, Rhodes College in Memphis , Tennessee and Haverford College in Haverford , Pennsylvania . Festivals attended include Peninsula Music Festival in Wisconsin , Colorado Music Festival, Tanglewood, Flagstaff Festival of the Arts, Round Top Festival in Texas and the Grand Teton Festival. |
