School of Biomedical Sciences

Welcome to the Kent State University School of Biomedical Sciences Web site. The school was founded in 1987 to provide graduate training in multiple biomedical science disciplines. Its Faculty are drawn from multiple departments housed at Kent State and neighboring Northeast Ohio universities and clinical institutions. Since it’s founding, the School has grown to become the largest interinstitutional graduate program in the State of Ohio. A world-class faculty and outstanding research facilities offer a unique and exciting graduate environment that supports interdisciplinary graduate training and research in areas of science related to medicine. 

A DVD outlining the programs in the School, graduate student life and the local environment is available to interested students. Please send a request for the DVD to jwearden@kent.edu and include a mailing address.
