I am currently studying atmospheric chemistry in Dr. Shan-Hu Lee's lab group. The project I work on deals with particle formation from the gas phase species of ammonia, sulfuric acid, and water. I have always had a knack for math and science, so chemistry turned out to be the perfect subject for me to study.

I am a doctoral student in the Gericke research group. My research topic is "Infrared Characterization of Phosphoinositide Signaling Pathways Components." I work mainly with Langmuir troughs, IRRAS (Infrared Reflection Absorption Spectroscopy), and Epifluorescence Microscopy. I became interested in science at an early age, mostly because of my father who would bring home all the cool and interesting chemistry gadgets, like potato clocks!

I am a doctoral student in Dr. Mietek Jaroniec's research group. My research focuses on the design, synthesis anc characterization of mesoporous alumina and mixed metal nanomaterials. I use methods such as nitrogen adsorption/desorption, high resolution thermogravimetric analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy.
