NATIONAL MODEL NATO CONFERENCE

The Center for International and Comparative Programs (CICP) coordinates University activities involving international education. Those include international student affairs, international undergraduate programs, faculty and student exchanges with Kent partner universities abroad, and research programs. In addition CICP:

  Assists in strengthening the international aspects of courses in various disciplines.

  Sponsors and provides assistance, as appropriate, for seminars, workshops, and conferences dealing with topics in the international field.

  Promotes University research of an international and comparative nature.

  Coordinates exchange programs, and seminars with institutions abroad for faculty and students.

   Provides services for international students through the International Student and Scholars Services Office (ISSS).

   Serves as the home for the Bachelor of Arts program in International Relations and the minor/certificate program in North Atlantic Security Studies.

  Directs the Geneva and Florence Semesters and administers the Architecture-in-Italy-Program.

  Administers the Lyman L. Lemnitzer Center for NATO and European Union Studies.

  Co-hosts with Howard University, Washington, D.C., the annual National Model NATO Conference, now in its twenty-first year.
