The number of courses available in the different categories of the major program makes it possible for students to progress satisfactorily toward completion of their program even if certain courses are not available during one or more semesters.  It is also possible to substitute courses other than those listed in the major sheets should it be necessary or desirable to do so.

We strongly urge the following minimum schedule to stay on track for graduation:

Three semesters before graduation, meet with Dr. Haley to review your requirement sheet.  For example, if you project a Spring 2008 graduation you should meet with him during the Spring 2007 Semester.

At least nine months before graduation, complete a Graduation Application in the College of Arts and Sciences, Room 105 Bowman Hall.  The deadline for this is usually within the first two weeks of the semester.  For example, if you project a Spring 2008 graduation, you should complete this application in the Fall 2007 Semester.
