The International Relations major features 39 credit hours of required and elective courses in Economics, Geography, History, Political Science, and a Foreign Language. The Program Director may under some circumstances, approve substitutions for courses listed below.  Each of the listed courses is offered for three (3) credit hours. 

Foreign Language Requirement

One course is required beyond the intermediate II level in French, German, Russian or Spanish.  Students may appeal to their adviser for substitution of another language, when justified by special circumstances.  Please see the foreign language note for details regarding the foreign language requirement and proficiency examination.
