Combined B.A./M.A. Program in Justice Studies
Overview
K.S.U. undergraduate Justice Studies (BA) students with outstanding
academic records may be eligible for enrollment in the combined
baccalaureate and master's program. For early admission to our Master's
degree program, students must have achieved a 3.5 GPA after 60 semester hours,
a 3.4 after 75 semester hours of undergraduate coursework, a 3.3 after 90
semester hours, or a 3.2 after 105 semester hours of coursework at
Qualified students are able to work on completion of their B.A. and M.A. degrees simultaneously, and can apply up to 12 hours of graduate hours toward the completion of their undergraduate degree requirements. Information on the graduate course curriculum and the M.A. program are available on the web.
Process
First, interested undergraduate students must meet the GPA requirements outlined above. Next, the student must apply for admission to the M.A. program, completing all paperwork and other requirements as described elsewhere. After being admitted, the student meets with the Department to complete the paperwork for the combined program.
