Lambda Alpha Epsilon

Who are we?
Lambda Alpha Epsilon is the Criminal Justice club, our local chapter of the national organization, which is made up of students and others who are interested in the Criminal Justice field. This association is devoted to the furtherance of professionalism in all areas of Criminal Justice. This organization is a great way to meet new people who are interested in the same field of study. Through this organization you can experience and learn outside of the classroom, and also network with people who could be potential employers.

The main objectives of LAE are:

-To improve criminal justice through educational activities.

-To foster professionalism in law enforcement personnel and agencies.

-To promote professional, academic, and public awareness of criminal justice issues.

-To encourage the establishment and expansion of higher education and professional training in criminal justice.

-To provide a unified voice for professionals in, and students of, criminal justice.

-To promote high standards of ethical conduct, professional training, and higher education within the criminal justice field.

The Psi Sigma Iota Chapter here at Kent State University aims to further the education that Justice Studies Majors and Minors receive in the classroom through interactive experiences.
