REGIONAL CAMPUS/TRANSFER STUDENT DAY AND VISITATION INFORMATION

This program is designed for students planning to make the transition to the Kent Campus. It offers students the chance to attend an academic session, meet with representatives from student services offices, talk with regional campus students who have already made the transition, and take a campus tour. The 2003-2004 dates will be posted at http://www.admissions.kent.edu/rcs_visitTheCampus.asp.

For more information or to make a reservation, please call the Admissions Office at 1-800-988-5368.

REGISTRATION STEPS
In preparation for registering for your first courses at the Kent Campus, you should take the following steps:

See your RC campus advisor if you have not already done so.  Make arrangements to see your academic adviser at the Kent campus to review your degree requirements and discuss course selection. Contact the college office that houses your major. A list of college offices is available from Undergraduate Studies.  ADVISING IS AN  IMPORTANT PART OF THE PROCESS ; please get in touch with your college and department advisors PRIOR to the transition if possible (see http://www.admissions.kent.edu/rcs_academicAdvising.asp for more information).
Obtain a Schedule of Classes booklet from your campus or from the Registrar's Office at the Kent Campus. The Registrar's Office website also offers the most current schedule of class offerings. The entry schedule for the Voice Response Registration System is listed in the Schedule of Classes booklet.
Get your University ID made if you have not already done so.  This is known as a FLASHcard.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact Mark Ledoux in the Admissions Office by e-mail or by phone at (330) 672-8858 or 1-800-988-5368.  The Admissions Office has a website for transitioning students.
