The Panhellenic Council serves as the governing council for Kent State's six sororities - Alpha Phi, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi OmegPanhellenic 2a, Delta Gamma, Delta Zeta, and Sigma Sigma Sigma.  Panhel exists at Kent State to represent the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC).

Panhel assists sororities by sponsoring Panhellenic Formal Recruitment at the beginning of the fall semester.  The council also hosts several educational events, including scholarship programs, women's health seminars, and risk management forums, and their annual philanthropy, Rock Out Lupus. 

The Panhellenic Council works closely with the Interfraternity Council (IFC) and the Inter-Greek Programming Board (IGPB) to coordinate Greek community events and programs.  These events and programs help to enrich the lives of the chapter members academically, personally, and socially.  Philanthropic and community service events are also sponsored to enrich the Kent State community as well as the surrounding community and charitable organizations.
