Leadership

Leadership development at Kent State University is a collaborative effort among faculty, staff, and students. Programs and classes are offered to assist students in their personal and cognitive development through course offerings, leadership opportunities, community service, and involvement experiences. Programs are designed to complement and enhance the overall academic experience by providing learning opportunities in many curricular and co-curricular settings.

Kent State University is committed to developing its students as leaders. We know that leaders are needed to provide vision for our campuses, communities, and organizations throughout the world. We believe it is our responsibility to educate and involve students so that they can solve difficult problems with integrity and compassion in a multi-cultural, complex society. We believe that students should be exposed to leadership models, issues, and real world organizational environments where leadership is so critically needed and often practiced.
