Community INvolvement

This year the University will present students with more opportunities to help others, serve their community, and make a difference like no school year before. I truly believe that a great university cannot be great unless its students are well known for giving back to their community and experiencing the lives of others. Community service challenges a person to alter their perceptions of people and life. It elicits growth on so many levels. This year, students will be empowered to change the world around them. They will realize that they can indeed make a palpable difference. We hope that a seed of giving may be instilled in all students so that when they leave Kent State they leave as better people than when they came here.
