Fields of interest:
I received my education in Ohio: B.A. in English from Xavier University in
Cincinnati, a M.Ed. in English from John Carroll University in Cleveland, and a
Ph.D. in English from Kent State University.
My research interests include contemporary American and world poetry, Ohio writers and writing, chapbooks and artists’ books, prose poetry, creative writing pedagogy. My writing interests include poetry, prose poetry, and micro fictions. My hobbies include hiking, birding, and collecting books, especially first edition contemporary American poetry and Irish literature.
