Room 312 in Satterfield Hall is the Technology and Writing Research
Classroom (TWRC), which is the electronic classroom for the Department of English.
The room includes twenty (20) workstations for students; and it is equipped with
electronic projection equipment, a printer, and a scanner. The room facilitates
instruction using electronic tools and research on the impact that various technologies
have on writing and the instruction of writing.
As an electronic classroom, it is used primarily for instructional purposes.
Currently, the room hosts sections of the professional writing courses Advanced
Business Writing and Advanced Technical Writing. Schedule permitting, the TWRC
offers open hours for general departmental use.
