Location, Location
Bärnsdorf is a traditional German village located in the countryside ten miles from Dresden, the capital of Saxony. Bärnsdorf and the nearby villages offer a wide range of leisure activities including hiking, swimming, horse-back riding, biking, and bowling. Classes will be held on the premises of the Gasthof Bärnsdorf, a restaurant well-known for traditional food and community gatherings.

Dresden, Capital of Saxony
Nearby, Dresden offers exquisite baroque buildings and cultural treasures: The famous Dresden Semperoper (opera house), Zwinger, Hofkirche and Brühl’s Terrace all line the Elbe river.

High-quality art work and architecture as well as expansive art museums illustrate that Dresden truly deserves its nickname, “The Florence of the North.”.
