Scholarships
- The Fashion
School provides scholarships for students in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising.
- Other scholarships
are provided to fashion students through organizations such
as The National Retailers Foundation and The Council of
Fashion Designers of America. Faculty will tell students
about these opportunities as they are available.
- Fashion students,
along with other majors may apply for financial aid, including
scholarships through Kent State University.

- All fashion
school scholarships require a minimum of a 3.0 GPA to be
eligible. Other requirements are listed under each scholarship.
- To learn which
scholarships/awards apply to you please indicate your major
and classification.
To determine classification use the following criteria:

- Freshmen:
0-29 earned hours
- Sophomore
30-59 earned hours

- Junior 60-89
earned hours
- Senior 90
hours through graduation

- Unless otherwise
noted, applications for scholarships are due on the first
Friday of Spring term each year.
Presentations of scholarships are made at the university's
Honors Day in April.
