Faculty Professional Development Center: FPDC Opportunities

Office Request Guidelines

Office seating in Moulton is available upon request and is assigned space based upon availability and the following guidelines:

  • Faculty member is engaged in research or professional development which is aided by access to staff or technology support available in Moulton Hall.
  • Faculty member is engaged in research or professional development in the area of learning technology and is willing to share expertise with others similarly engaged, using Moulton Hall as a base of activities.

Small groups of faculty may request office space together to facilitate their work.

Moulton Scholars are provided with a desk, filing cabinet drawer, telephone, and computer. A printer is located in each office. A mail drop and photocopier are available at a central location. All equipment is the property of Moulton Hall and the Faculty Professional Development Center and may not be removed from the premises. Participants are asked to sign an inventory list upon moving in, and agree to remove all personal possessions when their semester of occupancy has expired.

Deadlines for submission of applications (effective April 1, 2000)

  • November 1 -- Spring Semester
  • June 1 -- Summer Semester
  • July 1 -- Fall Semester

Submit requests for Fall Semester 2000 by July 1, 2000.

Please state the requestor’s name, affiliation, semester requested for residency, and describe the project using technology that will be enhanced through residence in Moulton Hall. Provide contact phone and e-mail address. Faculty members who have been awarded offices are asked to move in the first week of the semester and attend an orientation session.
