Research Center for Educational Technology
The RCET is a center that operates within the College of Education.  RCET is a network of university researchers and preK-16 educators desirous of studying the impact technology has on teaching and learning.  Much of the research takes place in the Ameritech classroom, a technology-based classroom and laboratory in Moulton Hall where K-12 students, teachers, faculty and graduate students observe and research the impact technology has on the K-12 students who are using the classroom.
University Teaching Council
There are four funding opportunities available through the UTC: Travel and Learning Support, Teaching Development Support, Workshop Award, and Summer Teaching Development Awards.  Each of these awards was established for the purpose of supporting and encouraging outstanding teaching.

Eisenhower Professional Development Program
Proposals due: May 24, 2001
This competitive OBOR grant program provides federal funds to public and private colleges and universities and nonprofit organizations to support sustained and intensive high quality professional development for elementary and secondary teachers of mathematics and science. Under the Dwight D. Eisenhower Professional Development Program (and its predecessors), the Ohio Board of Regents has awarded over $25 million for projects designed to improve the teaching of mathematics and science at the pre-college level by linking our college and university faculty and educational nonprofit organizations with elementary, middle school and high school teachers.
Ohio Eminent Scholars
A grant offered through OBOR designed to promote faculty programs that are creating new knowledge at the cutting edge of their particular discipline.  Programs eligible must be at the graduate level who can clearly demonstrate a record of success in both direct and indirect forms of scholarly work.
Ohio Campus Compact Partnerships in Action Grant
A Service Learning grant opportunity offered through the Ohio Campus Compact (OCC) that supports subsets of dialogue groups, which minimally must include one campus stakeholder and one community partner, as they work on projects during the academic year that connect community engagement to teaching, research, or professional service.
