Lynn
Koch
Biography
Dr.
Koch is an Assistant Professor in the Rehabilitation Counseling
Program.
Dr. Koch’s research interests include career development of
disability, the counselor-client working relationship, and client
expectations regarding vocational rehabilitation.
She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in Rehabilitation
from the University of
Arizona-Tuscon, and her doctoral degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from
the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Teaching
Project
Dr. Koch
is participating in the Teaching Scholars Program to learn strategies to
more actively engage her students in the learning process. She finds that
to be especially challenging given the competing demands of students,
employees, the university, abd agency clients with disabilities.
She is interested in developing learning activities and conducting
research on reflective practice in rehabilitation counseling.
