NEW POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Non-tenure Track Assistant Professor of Geology

Kent State University, Kent Campus, invites applications from dynamic and innovative individuals to teach undergraduate geology courses including Physical and Historical Geology and their labs, to co-teach the Mineralogy and Petrology sequence for majors, and to develop an upper division undergraduate course of interest to majors. A Ph.D. in geology with evidence of scholarship and teaching experience required. One to two years of demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching is also preferred. The successful candidate should expect to engage students in the classroom, use modern inquiry-based learning techniques, and to fully apply classroom technologies in instruction.
