My research is focused on the mineralogy, geochemistry, and origin of carbonate-hosted lead-zinc mineralization in the Midwest.  I am currently working on the occurrence of minor deposits in the Findlay Arch area and their economic potential in the subsurface.  Problems of particular importance are the age of this mineralization and the abundance of strontium (celestite) in it.
