My research is in low temperature surface geochemistry and hydrogeochemistry.  I am working on the NSF project under supervision of Dr. Stephen Cabaniss and Dr. Donald Palmer. The research is focused on estimating the hydrophobicity of natural organic matter using Reverse Phase High Pressure Liquid Chromatography. The main goal is to predict NOM's capacity of  hydrophobic organic pollutants binding and it's influence on the transport of the same pollutants in surface and groundwater.
