I am primarily interested in the fossil Decapoda, the shrimps, lobsters, and crabs. My research embraces the evolution, systematics, paleobiogeography, and paleoecology of these animals, from the Cretaceous through the Pleistocene.  I have worked with fossil decapods from nearly every continent and have conducted field and museum work in Mexico, Argentina, Antarctica, Japan, and Europe.
