Nicolet Phoenix

Made in 1987. BTE unit connected to a white plastic digital processing unit by a wire. White plastic unit could be placed in a pocket, while the BTE part was worn at the ear with an earmold. This was the first digital hearing aid! It was too large and expensive for practical use, so it quickly fell out of favor.
