Dr. Haridakis holds a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from Kent State University and a J.D. from the School of Law at University of Akron. He conducts research in media uses and effects, law, public policy, new communication technologies, and media ethics. His recent work has focused on First Amendment issues related to the regulation of content in various media such as the Internet and television. He teaches courses in Free Speech, Research Methods, Communication Process, and Senior Seminar. He also is a practicing lawyer.
