Dr. Stansbury holds a PhD in Library Science from Texas Woman's University. Her research and teaching interests are in the areas of information policy, distance education, and reference services. Current funded research includes an interdisciplinary project with faculty in the KSU Department of Political Science that is exploring attitudes and needs of low income populations related to computer technology and strategies for public agencies to employ to alleviate the Digital Divide.
