| Dr. Wearden holds
a Ph.D. in Mass Communication Research from University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. His current research interests include audience perceptions
of digital media, news accuracy, and media images of women. Dr. Wearden
serves on the Kent State University Human Subjects Review Board, on
the Advisory Board of the Institute for CyberInformation, and on the
planning committee for the 2001 Symposium on Democracy. He is also
chair of the Journalism and Mass Communication Media Board, which
selects the student leaders of the Daily Kent Stater, TV-2, WKSR,
Burr Magazine and Summer Kent Stater. |
