Dr. Zhang holds
a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests include information
seeking behavior in the Internet environment, evaluation of information
uses and services, and distance learning. Her work appears in scholarly
journals such as Journal of the American Society for Information Science,
Journal of Information Science, and Library Trends. She is the 1999
winner of the Association for Library and Information Science Education
(ALISE) Methodology Paper Competition Award.
