Jennifer Albina Jones received her B.A. in Justice Studies from Kent State University where she is currently a M.A. candidate. In addition to her criminal justice studies at Kent State University, she also studied the Russian language with great interest. Formerly employed by Business Interiors and Environments, she acquired a versatile skill set in the areas of accounting, software applications and maintenance, and data management, which have segued well into fulfilling her position of Research Assistant. Areas of special interest include developing and maintaining databases as well as advancing data mining techniques. Areas of previous research include international crime trends and prevention efforts, inequality in crime and justice and the use of applied technologies in criminal justice education. Current research is focused in the areas of youth development issues and offending, with particular concentration on the relationships between early-onset conduct disorder, co-morbidity and multi-system involvement.
