Each semester we offer smaller Special Topics courses on the Jewish aspects of film, literature, folklore, politics, society, and language--the entire range of the humanities and social sciences. Our Minor/Certificate in Jewish Studies enables students enrolled in any major to further enrich their studies. We also provide mentoring and advising for each of our students. In addition, we have an endowed scholarship program for qualified students, Jewish or non-Jewish. The Samuel Melton Scholarship, a gift from the Melton Foundation of Columbus, OH, provides financial assistance to any student that shows academic promise and agrees to take one or more courses in Jewish Studies every semester.
