
The Samuel Mendel Melton Scholarship provides financial assistance
to selected students at Kent State University. The award is for $500
per semester for a maximum of eight semesters, or $4,000. Students
must enroll in one or more courses in Jewish
Studies each semester.
Application procedure:
1. Complete an
Application Form
and essay and return them to the Jewish Studies
Program office (321 Bowman Hall).
2. Submit high school or college
transcripts, proof of ACT/SAT scores, and two
letters of recommendation from teachers/professors as soon as
possible.
