Kent State's commemorations not relevant to May 4
* The M4TF does not agree with Mr. Gordon's point of view, but we welcome all discussions about May 4, 1970
and how it is remembered.  We feel that our 35th Anniversary programming is extremely relevant to May 4, 1970.
Our keynote speaker, panelists and other contributors all have strong ties to the historic events or the local area.
Mr. Gordon does not even reference the May 4 Task Force, or that it has planned the annual commemoration since 1976
- but only alludes to the annual symposium in his remarks.
