Jeffrey
Glenn Miller was killed at Kent State University on May 4, 1970.
He transfered to Kent State from Michigan State just a few months
before.
Jeff was shot in the mouth
while standing in an access road that at one time led from Lake Hall to
the Prentice Hall Parking Lot. He was approximately 270 feet from
the National Guard, making him the closest slain student.
Miller was buried in Hartsdale,
New York. A memorial has recently been erected at his former high
school in Plainview-Old Bethpage, New York.
