Utilizing and Understanding OhioLINK

OhioLINK is a statewide information system supported by the Ohio Board of Regents. Its member institutions, currently 55, include state universities and two-year colleges, and a number of private colleges. OhioLINK provides a wide range of resources that vary by subject area and type of material. The site is supported by a search engine which allows the user to search the merged holdings of all participating libraries (over 7 million items). Borrowing can occur online with a typical delivery period of three days. Other resources include 40 research databases of journal articles somewith (full text), online references (Encyclopedia Britannica, dictionaries, telephone directories and a thesaurus).

OhioLINK provides extraordinary resources that support study in the sciences. In microbiology, you can search for and find references to help you study, prepare reports and find information regarding infectious diseases. In many ways, the OhioLINK is an information laboratory to serve your library resource needs.
