Public Management Curriculum

The Public Management Curriculum consists of 45 semester hours of formal coursework. This translates into the equivalent of 15 courses. The 45 semester hours are divided into three categories: the Management Core, the Elective Areas of Specialization and the Field Internship:

Nursing Management: The MSN/MPA Dual Degree

In conjunction with the Kent School of Nursing, the MPA program offers a dual degree program, the MSN/MPA, for nurses already holding the BSN and interested in pursuing careers in health care management either in the public or nonprofit sector. The MSN/MPA degree effectively reduces the total number of credits obtaining each degree individually would require. For specific course requirements click on
