Describing the first woman presidentof the US in her own words:

"I wanted her to look like she was coming into the future. The suits in the background behind the glass represent the stereotypical female president-the ones we might think of now. I feel like fashion is really coming into play big time, and I think 500 years from now, it's really going to be all about individualism. The female president of 2500 is going to be more fashion-forward, less strict than the females in the background are. For the fabrics, I was thinking microfibers, vinyl and leather, more powerful fabrics that stand out more. But no stretch. Everything is very hard-faced."

Potential Female President:
Any woman who hopes to become president right now, even Hillary Clinton, doesn't go out on the limb as far as fashion is concerned. She can't. It's hard enough being a woman, so in the future, not only will woman keep stepping up, but they'll be able to express themselves freely.

I think a combination of people who, to me, symbolize strength. For instance, Madonna. She's very worldly, and she doesn't hold back her boundaries. Then I think of Hillary Clinton; she intelligent, and she wants to take a step forward. The forwardness and the intelligence are a great combination.
