Two-piece navy wool skirt suit with white organdy embroidered flounce at the neck
Label: Adrian
c.1945-1946, United States of America
Kent State University Museum
Gift of Mr. Joseph Simms
KSUM 1984.23.2ab

The organdy eyelet acts as a type of frilly corsage on this otherwise clean lined suit. The ruffle brings emphasis up to the face, a strategy that Adrian often used while in Hollywood.
