Adrian used the animal kingdom in all its variety as a source of inspiration. He was an avid amateur painter of wildlife, making several trips to Africa in his lifetime. The jacket resembles an insect particularly a moth, proving that no part of the animal kingdom could be ignored in fashion. The layers to the suit jacket lend importance to the upper torso and the pocket placement and tie help to minimize the waist and hips.
