Using multiple harnesses activated with the assistance of a computer, a complex weave was created. To emphasize certain circles, the weaver selectively inserted variously colored wefts. As in tapestry weaving, these discontinuous wefts created color changes, but the very dense warp in this piece caused a blending of colors at the intersection of the vertical and horizontal.
