The base is silk habutai, clamp-dyed in acid dye. Appliquéd pieces
are silk organza which is felted with wool
(nuno-felting). The organza is shape-resisted (where objects are tied
into the fabric) and color-resisted in acid dye
baths. Machine quilted.
