Colonel Robert Harper (1791-1851) was a Revolutionary War veteran who settled in Geneva, Northwest Territory, in June 1798. This portrait is currently on display in his home, Shandy Hall, in Geneva, Ohio, which is a site that is part of the Western Reserve Historical Society.
