Funding
for this project will greatly enhance access to the collections of
the Kent State University Museum, which possesses one of the largest
and finest representations of costume and decorative arts from around
the world. The museum is already a major cultural asset for the region,
as well as a teaching resource for the Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman
School of Fashion Design and Merchandising. With access to the collection
via the Internet, the museum would reach global audiences.
