The Kent Choral Society is dedicated to providing scholarship funds to students interested in pursuing the choral arts as a career.

One or more choral-conducting scholarships are awarded each year to undergraduate junior and senior students exhibiting strong interest in becoming choral conductors. Applicants must be members of the KSU Chorale and full-time students (registered for 12+ hours) in good academic standing. Applicants must complete an application form and appear for a personal interview with the Kent Choral Society Scholarship Selection Committee and the KSU Director of Choral Activities.

Scholarships awarded will be based on the qualifications of the applicants. Recipients of these scholarships are expected to be members of the Kent Chorus and the KSU Chorale in the fall and spring of the year the scholarship is awarded.

Congratulations to Damien Hand-Cannane,
recipient of the 2006-2007 scholarship.
