The Kent State University Gospel Choir is also known as the KSU Gospel Choir, Kent State Gospel Choir, University Gospel Choir, and KSUGC.  Participants of the choir represent undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members.  We also represent different racial groups, age groups, majors, occupations, and religions.  Each of these characteristics makes KSU Gospel Choir the most diverse unit, ensemble, and class on campus.
This popular group is invited to perform for several on-campus activities, school districts, churches, colleges and universities, local and national conferences, and social/civic organizations.  We meet each Monday, fall and spring semesters, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the School of Music rehearsal hall.  Undergraduate students must register for MUS 45151 to participate. A voice placement audition is required once you are registered. Community members and graduate students who do not wish to register (in MUS 55151) must audition and interview.  For further information contact Dr. Walker at 330-672-2431 or lwalker@kent.edu.
